SDCC

Gaymer Base Covers San Diego Comic-Con 2016

SDCC began in 1970 and originally held at the U.S. Grant Hotel in downtown. Since then it has become one of the biggest comic conventions in the world bringing $150 million into the city and made up more than a quarter of the year’s traffic.

While we were there we got to talk to some amazing cosplayers, artists, and celebrities.

Some of our favorite cosplayers were from Comicare, a nonprofit corporation of cosplayers who donate comic books to children in hospitals and medical facilities.

We got to hang out at PRISM Comics another nonprofit organization supporting LGBTQIA-friendly comic books, professionals and educators.

We got to hang out with some queer cosplayers like Spencer and Eric and Michael as well as checked out a bunch of cute guys.

After a long hot weekend, we ended our day at Heat Pool Party hosted by LE Parties.
