We’ve been waiting patiently, and it’s finally on its way. Nintendo announced during E3 that it should be coming out this July.
You’re iOS, and Android devices will finally be able to capture Pokemon. They are also going to be releasing the game’s wrist-worn Pokemon Go Plus that helps you play the game without using your smartphone for $34.99, but it won’t be ready until after the game launches.
Pokemon Go is an AR that was developed by Niantic, who also created the game Ingress. There will be three different groups Red, Blue, and Yellow paying homage to the original Pokemon Gameboy games in the US. As you play, you can take control of the various gyms and team up with others.
Another feature they revealed were “candy” rewards, which allow you to evolve the Pokemon you have captured.
